]]>A visit to Corsica in France is not complete without visiting Ostriconi Beach, situated in the north-west region. Also known as the beach of Perajola, you will find the beach wild and breathtaking. The windswept beach is only a short drive away from the historical commune called L’Ile Rousse.
To get to the beach, you will have to hire a car or a bicycle. A small hike for about 15 to 20 minutes is needed to get to the beach itself from the car park. The car park is a big lot and is free of charge. The hike is quite enjoyable and will take you through reeds and knee-high wades.
Swimmers have to be careful with the undercurrents, and it can be dangerous when the weather is rough. In the summer months, the beach is sometimes supervised.
There are no facilities prepared to bring your water, food, and parasol (because there is no shade).
